Chubby and Dumpling, two kitties with CH

UPDATE: Chubby and Dumpling have been adopted!

Chubby and Dumpling were born with CH (Feline Cerebellar Hypoplasia), a neurological condition affecting their balance—but these two “wobbly kitties” don’t let it slow them down!

Little orange Chubby loves to pounce on bits of fluff, and when he face-plants he doesn’t seem to mind. He staggers, flops, and happily explores. He’s a determined kitten!

Chubby’s sister Dumpling is 100% sweetheart. She has more difficulty walking, so she prefers to sit cuddled in your arms and observe the world around her. She purrs a lot and carefully grooms her tiny paws. Whenever her foster mom enters the room, Dumpling meows “hello” and eagerly half-rolls, half-crawls over to greet her.

Even though Chubby and Dumpling won’t be able to walk and run like other kitties, they can still live long, happy lives. We’re hoping they can find someone who will love them just as they are, wobbles and all!

Adoption: Dumpling and Chubby are currently in foster care and will be available for adoption as soon as they are big enough to be spayed and neutered. In the meantime, to learn more about adopting them, you can email adoptions@seattleareafelinerescue.org.
