Reopening for In-Person Adoptions

The last year and a half has challenged our community in so many ways we never could have predicted. Through all of the change and difficulty, there has been one constant: the caring of our wonderful community. With your support, SAFe Rescue has been able to carry on throughout the pandemic to help both cats and the humans who love them.

Now, after 1,485 online adoptions, we have reached a new milestone: it’s time to re-open for in person adoptions! This Thursday June 10, we will be welcoming prospective adopters into SAFe Rescue for the first time in 15 months.

As always, the safety of our community, both feline and human, is our top priority. We are taking many precautions to make the return to in-person adoptions safe and comfortable for everyone involved.

For now, SAFe’s safety measures include limiting onsite capacity. Only a pre-set number of adoption visits, specific volunteer roles, and special foster consultations will be allowed onsite at any one time. We look forward to the day when we can open our doors more widely and see all of you at the Adoption Center again!
