A Look Back at the 2025 Nine Lives Gala: The Wonderful Wizard of Paws

Oz may be great and powerful, but it’s SAFe’s community that really brought the magic during our 2025 Nine Lives Gala. Your commitment is nothing short of awe-inspiring, but what’s even more incredible is how you continue to outdo yourselves, year after year.

SAFe Rescue has hosted the Nine Lives Gala for well over a decade (some of you may even recall the first-ever gala). In all this time, 2025 proved to be a record-shattering year, raising over $265,000 for crucial medical equipment and supplies, research-backed feline behavioral support tools, resources for adopters, and more. From the bottom of our hearts, we cannot thank you enough for the dedication you’ve shown Rescue cats. They may not be able to say it with words, but these amazing creatures feel every ounce of love sent their way—and they send it right back.
