Community Wellness Clinics

At Seattle Area Feline Rescue, we believe in supporting cats and the humans who love them. In following this mission, we’re excited to announce that SAFe Rescue is now offering monthly wellness clinics, assisting cats owned by low-income individuals by providing low-cost care and services. These clinics are offered to help support families who need wellness services for their feline companions. Please note that at this time, we are not able to help with sick or injured animals, and we are only able to offer services and care for cats at this time.

SAFe Rescue’s monthly Community Wellness Clinics are held inside of our Community Lobby located at 20226 Ballinger Way NE, Seattle, WA 98155. Our next clinic date is scheduled for Monday, February 5th 2024 with our following clinics taking place on Monday, April 8th 2024 and Monday, May 13th 2024. Appointments are required. Please do not show up without an appointment. If you’d like to make an appointment, please apply for services down below. After applying, someone from our SAFe Clinic Team will email you to book an appointment.

To receive services, Washington state guidelines require that you attest that you qualify based on your household income. If you need additional financial support, we may be able to lower the fees. Please reach out to us at clinic@seattleareafelinerescue.org if you need additional assistance.

*An exam will be required before all other services can be provided.

Please note: Seattle Area Feline Rescue clinics do not operate as full-service veterinary clinics. This means that we do not treat sick or injured cats. If you’re looking for low-cost sick pet care, we recommend attending a Seattle Veterinary Outreach clinic if possible. We are not able to treat chronic diseases, infections, coughing, sneezing, vomiting, diarrhea, wounds, injuries, or if your pet is not eating or drinking normally. If your cat is experiencing any of these symptoms or conditions, please contact your primary care provider or seek emergency veterinary care.

Appointment Procedures

Scheduling Your Visit

After applying for services, your application will be processed and if accepted, someone from SAFe Rescue will reach out to schedule your visit.

If you are not able to keep this appointment, please let us know as soon as possible. (No-shows reduce the number of cats and people we can help.)

The Day Of Your Appointment

Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time for check-in. Seattle Area Feline Rescue is located at 20226 Ballinger Way NE, Shoreline, WA 98155 located in the Ballinger Village shopping mall. When arriving at the clinic, you can park in the parking lot in front of the rescue and enter through our Community Lobby door on the right-hand side.

When you arrive, cats must be in a carrier. This is to keep them safe. If you do not own a carrier, please make arrangements with the SAFe Clinic Team before your appointment. We can provide you with a carrier to use during your visit.

Checking In

Check-in takes place just inside our Adoption Center doors at our front desk. Just come on in before your appointment is scheduled and one of our clinic volunteers or staff members will assist you with getting checked in for your appointment.

COVID-19 Procedures

If you have tested positive for COVID-19, are experiencing symptoms, or have been exposed to COVID-19 please email us at clinic@seattleareafelinerescue.org or call (206) 582-2662 and reschedule your appointment. We will have masks available at the Rescue, wearing one is encouraged but not required.
